  7. You must hit the Recovery tab.

  8. Tap on Restart the Service from all these dropdown menus: First failure, Second failure, and Subsequent failures.

  4. Be sure that Turn on network discovery is chosen in the Network Discovery and File and Printer sharing sections.

Step 2: Find your server name from your server

  1. In the first place, head to the Windows Start menu on your server computer.

Method 7:  Create a New Folder for Your QBW File

  1. First of all, make a new folder on the server computer.

  2. Next, you need to make changes in the permissions for this new folder and QuickBooks company files to be shared and set up. 

  3. Afterward, press CTRL + C to copy the QuickBooks Database (QBW) file to the new folder.

  4. Finally, open your company file in multi-user mode again so that you can see the error status.

Method 8: Install and Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager on your server
